the digital divide.

Our Mission
Empowering global communities through digital inclusion, we bridge the digital divide by providing accessible technology and connectivity solutions. Unlocking opportunities for all, we foster a more connected and equitable world through innovative technology and collaborative partnerships.
01
Community
We bridge the digital divide by deploying public WiFi zones in community, cultural, and tourist spaces. In collaboration with public and private managers, we install and manage these infrastructures.
Our services extend to LAN/WAN management, security, smart buildings, software integration (VOIP, Microsoft 365, CMS, ERP), and technical support. Together, let's create equitable digital access for all.
02
Health
We specialize in WiFi infrastructure deployment for healthcare facilities and tablet rental services. Our expertise extends to implementing and managing telehealth solutions for home care.
We offer tailored CMS, CRM, ERP, and donation management software. Whether you choose to provide free WiFi, charge for access, or offer a voluntary donation option, we have the right solution to meet your specific needs and enhance patient care.

01
Collaboration in the development of MTLWiFi
In collaboration with the City of Montreal, ZAP engaged with 15 of the city's 18 boroughs, deploying and managing nearly 70% of the WiFi infrastructure. While key areas like downtown Montreal, the Quartier des spectacles, and Jeanne-Mance Park are connected to the MTLWiFi network, ZAP's contribution extends far beyond, encompassing a vast network of community centers, sports facilities, cultural venues, and parks, benefiting local citizens as well as tourists and business districts
02
From Grassroots to Province-Wide Impact
Born from grassroots citizen action, ZAP, a non-profit organization, first took root in Montreal and has since expanded to major urban centers across Quebec. This community-driven initiative has grown to provide free wireless internet access in public spaces, fostering digital connectivity and community engagement throughout the province. ZAP's network of hotspots now spans multiple cities, reflecting its commitment to bridging the digital divide and promoting accessible technology for all Quebecers
03
Bridging the Digital Divide in Healthcare
The digital divide in healthcare access affects up to 25% of the population in disadvantaged areas, limiting access to modern care and causing significant human, social, and economic costs. Our innovative donation-based Wi-Fi solution addresses this issue by:
-
Enabling voluntary user contributions to fund Wi-Fi deployment and management
-
Providing in-home technical support, including tablet loans and local network setup
-
Collaborating with healthcare teams for telehealth and home hospitalization support
With over 20 years of experience, we aim to bridge the digital divide and enhance healthcare access through telehealth and home hospitalization. Our expertise ensures reliable, high-performance Wi-Fi connectivity tailored to healthcare facilities' needs, whether free, paid, or donation-funded, supporting the essential digital transition in healthcare.
04
Enabling Digital Skills in Local Communities
We play a key role in bridging the digital divide by supporting public officials and managers in developing accessible public Wi-Fi services for citizens. Beyond infrastructure, we empower community, sports, and cultural organizations to adopt technology.
For example, at the Plateau Community Center in Montreal, we installed rooftop cameras on beehives, allowing children to study and observe a hive’s evolution in real-time, fostering both digital skills and engagement.
